Hospital Review Magazine named Prince William Hospital as one of 23 hospitals nationally with “Great Orthopedic and Spine Programs”. Prince William was specifically recognized for disease certification for knee and hip replacement by the Joint Commission and consistent recognition by Healthgrades as one of the top orthopedic facilities in Virginia.
This list of 23 elite orthopedic facilities also included Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, California, Sutter Medical Center in Sacramento, California and Hospital for Special Surgery and New York-Presbyterian/Columbia in New York.
“Being recognized on the level of Hospital for Special Surgery is quite an honor, but we would settle for nothing less for our patients,” said Dr. W. Bartley Hosick. “The staff at Prince William Hospital shares our commitment to patient care and works hard to provide our patients with the best possible experience.”
Dr. Chris Highfill said, “This type of recognition requires strong performance, and strong performance requires teamwork. I really enjoy being a part of the team at Prince William Hospital.”
Northern Virginia Orthopaedic Specialists is proud to be a part of this success and would like to commend the hospital nursing staff and all those who support the surgeons in their efforts to provide top-notch care for northern Virgina.
